Yes, LIMA is the capital of Peru but it’s not just that ! For what we are referring to, it is the Licensing International, one of the most prestigious international awards for licensees, that we just won.

We are proud to receive the 2019 International Licensing Awards for Best Retailer for a Character/ Entertainment Initiative from the Licensing International (formerly known as LIMA).

With our partners Sylvoe and Warner Bros. Consumer Products France, Fame Bros. has been awarded the Best Retailer for a Character/ Entertainment Initiative for our Galeries Lafayette Wizarding World project during Christmas 2018.

The first “Wizarding World” in France, immersed visitors in Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast universe with an extraordinary collection of iconic objects and gifts. It was a unique occasion to discover the wizarding world inspired by J.K Rowling’s books. Inside the store you would find a brand-new design staging the wizarding universe, enchanting (and engaging) animations, and a wide selection of products, such as replicas, robes, scarves etc… all sent directly from Diagon Alley.

In addition to the pop-up store dedicated to Harry Potter’s magical universe, it was an occasion to showcase exclusive animations such as an immersive photocall which immersed its visitors in the magical universe of the Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald. The installation hosted also master class for spells. Visitors could learn to cast some of the most iconic spells from the movies like “Wingardium Leviosa”, “Riddikulus”, or “Oculus Reparo”. Visitors could even create an animated portrait, freshly delivered from Azkaban 😉 !

The Wizarding World pop-up store in Galeries Lafayette Haussmann Paris welcomed over 200,000 visitors in 2 months' time. We would like to thank everyone who could make it to the store, and we sincerely hope that you enjoyed it.
